Rory Gallagher & Mike Lane - Eclipse / Skyline Cafe essential balearic uplifting beauties out on Soundpiercing/Armada

2.Skyline Cafe (Original Mix)
3.Eclipse (Radio Edit)
4.Skyline Cafe (Radio Edit)

When producing trance, there's one thing that's got to be absolutely perfect. The melody. What moved you, moves your listeners. If anyone understands, it's UK producer talent Rory Gallagher. His 'Dark Side of the Sun' was a highly danceable anthem, bursting with melodic strength.

This year, he returns with some new musical artillery. And he's not on his own. Together with fellow-producer Mike Lane, he presents the Soundpiercing E.P. of 'Eclipse' and 'Skyline Cafe'. 'Eclipse' is an energetic trancer that rides a warm, sun-drenched melody, fusing with progressive depth. It’s that one track you'll be having stuck on replay for weeks. Same goes for 'Skyline Cafe', the more playful and progressive B-side to this one. It flows like a musical wave of warm, deep-blue melody, completely mesmerizing as it unfolds in the break.

Two summer anthems for the trance fanatics!

Dimitri Kechagias review: I'm huge fan of Rory and his various releases and remixes particularly in his label Alter Ego Records. Now on Soundpiercing along with Mike Lane, he delivers two great tracks that have the power to move big crowds in huge soundsystems and uplift your mind and soul in the 7 skies without any delays. Eclipse is what I term as classical ecological trance sound that grab you and doesn't allow you to move away from the dancefloor. The break reveals the lovely theme along with those choped vocal effects that adds to its mystic atmosphere and total brilliance. Skyline Cafe is more laid back balearic trancer. When you listen to it you will feel like lying in your favorite golden beach under the hot sun watching the waves hitting the rocks while you drink your favorite fruit punch. It sounds as the perfect timing to release it during summer months. Rory and Mike manage to capture the whole summer season in just 8 minutes and this requires talent and expertise. I danced to Eclipse around 8 o clock in the morning at the festival Nature One when Woody van Eyeden and Alex Morph dropped it and I loved it as the same happened with the rest of the clubbers dancing in the Open Air stage.
