Manufactured Superstars team up with Selina Albright and present their latest single entitled “Serious” on the Magik Muzik imprint.
Their previous single with Scarlett Quinn, “Take Me Over”, rocked the clubs all over the world and is still on the track lists of the big names in the industry. “Serious”, partially based on the Donna Allen original by the same name, is once again a slammer for the clubs. The more or less old skool build up with an enticing piano arrangement in it is the lead in to fat beat programming and super low sub bass. Add to that the can’t-get-it-outta-my-head synth riff that backs the vocals of Selina Albright and you know that your audience will run for the dancefloor to raise their hands in the air and sing along at the top of their lungs. Before the track truly explodes, the Manufactured Superstars of course made sure to carefully program a marvelous break, ready for the big and packed events.
The second remix package comes with a fantastic set of remixes. Calvin Harris takes the original to the techy trancy level and adds some lovely, percussive synths and gives us a break that’ll make your eyes water. Glenn Morrison looks at things from the progressive side and focuses on the beats and the synth stabs. Jquintel vs. Jaceo & Jeziel Quintela decided to deliver a fat club stomper with a seriously pumping bass line and funky beats. The Forcing Function Remix will work perfectly on the electro-aimed dance floors and last but not least we find Fei Fei, who speeds up the BPM to create a hard trance version. With remixes like this you just know that you can get “Serious” behind the decks!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Serious is the second fantastic single from a project that you should look out for the always impressive Manufactured Superstars. The first part of the mixes was strictly for the house floors with epic house disco fuelled versions with Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano remix getting continuous plays and heavy support. Now the part 2 of the mixes is fantastic with great versions for wide variety of tastes in EDM. The ultra heavy package of naughty and loud remixes will push this amazing project right at the forefront of clubs and the pop dance charts as well. Calvin Harris takes the track in the middle of any prog house set with less vocal but plenty of action for the dancefloor. Glen Morrison adds his futuristic deep progressive disco house sound with use of the vocal only in the breakdown with great effect. Trent and the hot Jquintel vs Jaceo and Jaziel mixes serve the more upfront tribal prog disco house sound with plenty of twisted sounds and filtered effects to offer that peak time anthem style. The big surprise is the addition of the lady of tech trance Fei-Fei to deliver the big room and uplifting trance-o-disco fantastico version if there is a style like that but I have in a way to describe it. Its without doubt an adventurous package that break boundaries and will support this project to establish itself as one of the finest in the music bizz. Finally I would love to stress how impressed I am left from Selina who perform the track in a such lively and involving way. She is definitely a vocalist that has the abilities to rock and standout from the rest and Im saying this really Seriously...Love IT
