JES presents her brand new single “It’s Too Late” on the Magik Muzik imprint.
“It’s Too Late” was taken of JES’ highly acclaimed album “High Glow”. The original album version is the perfect example of what JES, known as the Queen of Rocktronica is capable of. A tight, typical electronic dance music production, that works as the ultimate vehicle for JES’ vocals, not to mention of course the subtle use of guitar and live drums. Most importantly the track features an addictive chorus and is a perfect for everyone on the dancefloor to sing along. The perfect radio sound of the two edits in this package should be the best reason for the known dance stations to pick this one up and take it to the charts.
The remix package features an incredible selection of superb versions that deserve to be checked out in full. Muzikjunki takes the original to the clubs; Trent Cantrelle puts the tech in tech trance; Coco Channel offers an ISOS style trance remix; Michael Badal combines rocktronica with trance and last but not least we have Celldweller, who delivers a bass bin shredding dubstep remix full of hyped up edits. With “It’s Too Late” by JES, you can never be too late as a DJ!
Dimitri Kechagias review: JES new single is a fact and there is already big buzz around it. Great reactions and dj support that day by day will become even bigger as a result of the great variety of remixes included in the package and the wide variety of tastes covered so different dancefloors to adopt it as soon as possible. Michael Badal is my first choice as he masterfully composes an awesome dark prog electro trance mix with plenty of drive that highlights the lyrics that JES so wonderfully knows how to write and impress us all. The breakdown reveals a large piano part and live rock chorus till to go back on full on dark and twisted dynamic beats. Muzikjunki add that big room tech house feeling and in the house arena he takes the track Trent Cantrelle as well who goes tottaly wild and free on a remix that includes an awesome full song intro and big dark bouncy beats. Celldweller deliver the dustep version and in a way this remix sounds the more appropriate for the rocktronica generation as dubstep is as well dynamic, energetic and agressive. Coco Channel remix is the more summery feel good version on a really cool positive and optimistic mood full of melodic goodness perfect for early morning in Ibiza terraces. JES at its best once again.
