Dimitri: Are you going to remember 2010 as a good and positive year for the progress of electronic dance music or as one of the worst? For instance, have you found many good tracks, new ideas, new talented producers and newborn labels that have excite you and make you feel more addicted with your favorite music?
Kay Stone: I guess it was on of the worst years of Trance music because it’s going more and more in the background and that is what nobody wants I think.

Dimitri: Is it possible to list for us your personal accomplishments music wise that you achieved during 2010 and maybe you consider this year as one of your best helping you to go a step forward in your career?
Kay Stone: I think Omnia is a very helpful and fresh production which was very surprising for me this year.

Kay Stone: The best Dj 2010 : Armin Van Buuren (the DJ poll tells the same ;-))

Kay Stone: Trance Energy was absolutely amazing and Qlimax had kicked me into another dimension!

Kay Stone: I live with music and I keep busy with it all the time.

Kay Stone: A State of Trance presented all the latest in Trance and progressive. That’s is the best show for me!

Kay Stone: Beatport is one of the biggest online record store, I get all my stuff from them:

Kay Stone: I only use my Laptop. I have all files on it.

Kay Stone: Susana with her brilliant and distinctive voice

Kay Stone: I like Ivibes.nu, Cool website with many information about labels, music, artists and more!

z)Best fan of your music of the year or best crowd in your performance(perhaps you don’t know the name but you can describe when you met or why you consider this person as your best fan of the year)
Kay Stone: I haven’t got a really best fan. I am very happy when somebody likes and dance to my music. Thanks to all the people who supported my latest tune Sunrise!

Dimitri: Can you please let us know your plans for 2011 that your fans should look out for from you?

Kay Stone: The Breathemusic guys Dark Moon and myself will working on a new tune for the next year! I am very excited to work with these guys. After this cooperation the next studio job will be the new Kay Stone tune.

Dimitri: On the other side are the worst things of the year. Is it possible to tell us the track or album that you believe is the worst of the year and why?

Kay Stone: Everybody has this own interpretation about music and so I can’t say that there was anything I didn't like.


Of the bottom of one’s heart my deepest sympathy to all the immediate family of the Love Parade victims in Duisburg this year.

Dimitri: Please give us your wishes for 2011 and your small piece of advice for anyone that reads this interview and love to get into music production or djing.

Kay Stone: My only wishes are to be healthy for the next year! I think it is the only and important thing in life!


For the forthcoming and new talented producers and Dj's I only want to say to keep on going with your dreams, keep on going to hear the latest tracks and


keep on trying to practice. There will be the time you got THE amazing hit tune or THE “only must have Mix”… so keep on going.......
