ADE Pro's program will gain a creative impulse through the announced panels focused on creativity in the music industry.

Thursday October 18th will see the DeLaMar wherein ADE Pro presents a series of panels. We are delighted that Bas Korsten, creative director at J. Walter Thompson, will be revealing one of the secrets of the advertising industry in the Creative Keynote, namely that anyone can boost their own creativity, as well as being more effective and more successful by following certain procedures.

Jack Springbett, senior design at AEI Group, will be giving his version of what standout cover art is and how to achieve it in a 15-minute presentation called The Importance of Cover Art in a Digital Age on ADE Friday. This will be immediately followed by the panel Lookin’ Good: Cover Art as Identifier and Differentiator in which The Stone Twins will be drawing on their encyclopaedic knowledge of classic pop and cover art.

Moreover, AEI senior creative Daisy Finetto will be discussing how the style choices made by labels, YouTube channels and artists affect their image and perception by the public. They also will offer tips on how you can optimize and leverage how you are perceived by music fans, and how you can use an image to break through the media clutter. Then, the will be joined by Dutch DJ Julian Jordan who will be discussing how image impacts on his career and his attempts to establish a style and visual look that cuts through.

Uncovered: The art of the album cover was an exposition within the ADE Art route in 2014, visualizing the indissoluble connection between the album cover and music.
