"I am a DJ and producer from the greater Cologne area. Apart from surfing waves I am passionate about deep tech house. I am part of the music production collaboration "Kotapski & Schmidt" with releases on Yellow Tail Records, Blu Fin and Natura Viva Music. The last couple of months I have been working hard on some solo projects which will be available on Beatport some time this year. " Kotapski notes in his soundcloud page

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Yellow Tail is the beloved sublabel of Blu Fin. The quality techno and deep house label from Cologne service you the stunning EP How's Jack from the upcoming artist Kotapski. The classy cuts included on the package promise to bring to your dancefloor sensations that you haven't felt before. How's Jack is the deep tech house bouncy production with extremely danceable addictive groove, spacey effects, weird noises and magnificent synthy hooks that add to the track the hypnotic atmosphere that keep you tapping your feet and dancing around. It sounds so dirty, stylish and cool. Go Away is a deeper affair as it starts with sea waves and deep haunting basslines, rolling grooves, melancholic moody synths, lonely piano chords and excellent percussion that keep the dancefloor moving. The breakdown reveals a very unique female vocal that invites you to forget and go away. The climax continues along with the nice vocal and the organic percussion that add to the track the hippy 70's atmosphere. Ayjuway is deep house groover with funky basslines, metallic raw grooves and bassline that drives the track forward. It's more jazz house affair that you will find impossible not to dance. Lastly Into The Groove is a very experimental take on deep house with Jimmy Tenor touch to it. The surprising distorted vocals stay at the background and recall the classic hi-nrg disco anthem Let The Music Play. The sing a long vocals are added on top of the steady playful groove, deep basslines, synthy samples and hypnotic atmosphere with great result. #PureGold Love It [/content]
