Featuring Matt Black (artist Coldcut / founder Ninja Tune, UK), and Alex Cornelissen (CEO Sea Shepherd, NL) alongside representatives from Fusion Festival (DE), We love Green (FR) and Boom Festival (PT); ADE Green’s conference program announces first speakers of its line-up.

The third edition of ADE Green in the Brakke Grond will feature iconic and inspiring keynote speakers in the form of Ninja Tune's Matt Black and Alex Cornelissen, CEO of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Alongside his decade-spanning career as one half of the legendary DJ duo and ground breaking multimedia pop group Coldcut (along with Jonathan More), Black has been an activist and campaigner for environmental protection, social justice and climate change, but always in his own inimitable way. At ADE Green, he will be explaining in detail his plan to create positive art, music and spiritual technology to blow the minds of the entire planet and catalyse the advancement of cooperative strategies. He'll also be talking about some aspects of his journey and experiences so far, including what he’s learned, his advice for other artists and creative businesses looking to tread a more sustainable path, and where we go from here.
For Alex Cornelissen, CEO of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, the paradigm is a very simple one; if the oceans die, we die as well. While this might seem blindingly obvious, what can be done about it is considerably less so. Cornelissen will talk about his personal story, which took him from a small town in Holland to his current role as the head of the world's most important campaigning NGO for the marine environment. He will be offering insights into the decisions that have to be made to make a real difference to the state of the planet's oceans, how to make the step from Clicktivism to Activism and how to understand the fine line between just saying 'No' and making sure that 'No means No'.
Besides keynote speeches ADE Green offers a wide range of panels and workshop on sustainability, innovation and social change. There will be workshops featuring tools, tips and tricks on how to make festivals more sustainable, how to campaign with substance and how you can involve your public in social issues, with representatives from Fusion Festival (DE), We Love Green (FR), Boom Festival (PT) hosted by Jacob Bilabel from the Green Music Initiative (DE). As previously announced, ADE Green 2015 will also feature the Open-House initiative, a special focus on energy conservation with Julie's Bicycle.
