As Ray Fields debuts on Subjekt Recordings with ‘Night Time Nomads’, mesmerizing atmospheres and subtle hints of musical ingenuity thrive through speakers and inside heads. And with Arjuna Schiks and Olaf Stuut presenting their equally impressive and experimental takes on the record, it adds up to this superb release you see before you. What else do you need?
Dimitri Kechagias review: Subjekt recordings presents the fantastic Ray Fields production Night Time Nomad that is supported by two additional remixes. The original mix is a laid back groovy electronic beauty with cool vocal samples, warm synthy chords and hypnotic haunting bassines along with acid overtones on top. Arjuna Schiks Remix goes for a straight forward deep house approach with bubbly basslines, rolling grooves, dreamy synths and electronic rays of hope upon the quite dark and melancholic groove. Last but not least the chill out and electronica fans will adore the Olaf Stuut Remix that is dark with experimental crunchy techy groove, deep wobbly basslines and great cinematic strings with mesmerising mysterious atmosphere. Quality always wins and Subjekt has proved itself as a label that you can count for an arty touch on your daily music consumption. #PureGold Love It
