REVIEW: Richard Knott - Mantra out on Monster Deep

After a short hiatus we’re back on form with Monster Deep and we’ve got a very special treat for you all. With many Big Room House / EDM style tracks masquerading as Progressive House, it’s our pleasure to present an unadulterated slice of true progressive from one of the scenes brightest prospects.

Richard Knott has been steadily crafting a niche in the scene, following in the footsteps of the master (and his idol) Eric Prydz, in producing quality melodic House music for the past few years and ‘Mantra’ is certainly no exception.

Melodic and driving with big bold beats and a whacking great snare drum, this production is slamming! A quirky oriental vocal hook backed up by a chunky bass groove, sumptuous arpeggio and the expertly crafted main lead riff provide the focal point and round off this production in superb style.

Buy this man a beer will you!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The upcoming and quickly rising at the top producer Richard Knott from Liverpool is back with his truly magical melodic dreamy progressive house production Mantra. The track is high class composition from start to finish with fantastic rhythm and groove that carries the listener for an inspirational journey and once you are hooked with it you will play it on repeat mode on your car stereo for sure. The organic elements are merged with electronic synths, electro kind of vocal and cinematic atmosphere that is highlighted from the ethnic vocal sample that transcends you to other spaces and places up and away from what we perceive as real. The whole arrangement from the magical hypnotic breakdowns to the more uplifting climax will definitely keep you dancing and shaking following the flow of the music surfing and floating upon the therapeutic soundwaves. #PureGold Love It
