Today, 60.000 visitors from 56 different countries are celebrating a sold-out edition of Mysteryland Netherlands. During this 21st edition of the Dutch electronic music, culture and arts festival, 21 stages are hosted with a roster consisting of world renowned headliners, international artists, talented up-and-comers and of course, unexpected adventures.
If you like art and electronic dance music, Mysteryland is your playground. Artists such as Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Chris Liebing, Loco Dice, Bass Modulators and an all-encompassing amount of additional artists represent almost every style within electronic dance music. The program also features a significant amount of exposure for local, upcoming talent.
Although music plays (no pun intended, but welcomed) a large role at Mysteryland, art is equally as alluring and extensive. Over the years, the festival has focused more on a broad range of art disciplines: interactive installations, high-end art pieces, spiritual sessions, abstract performances, and a whimsical art route with plenty of space to get lost in the moment. Mysteryland is one big quest – exploring new things is of the utmost importance.
Mysteryland started in 1993 and is the world’s longest running dance music festival. The festival focuses on diverse culture, imaginative art, en thralling music, intercontinental cuisine, and earth-friendly sustainability. The festival brings their visitors to inspiring and surprising worlds where anything is possible. In 2011, Mysteryland expanded internationally to a picturesque region in Chile. In May 2014, the festival embarked on a nomadic journey to the USA to launch the first-ever Mysteryland on the iconic Bethel Woods grounds – the landscape where the ’69 Woodstock was held. Mysteryland is one of the most sustainable festivals in the world and belongs to ID&T.
