Strenghtening their musical bond time and again, Tenishia and Ruben de Ronde return from another fruitful time in the studio. Featuring the strong vocals of Shannon Hurley and including the winning remixes of the official remix contest, here’s ‘Love Survives’!

Continuing their flow of warm, proggy trancers, the Maltese duo and Dutchman set forth an emotional tune. ‘Love Survives’ is rich in detail, warm in melody and provides a strong follow-up to ‘Marsascala’ and ‘Story of Life’.  Inspiring many talented producers, the official remix contest of ‘Love Survives’ resulted in three outstanding remixes, by three promising talents.

The absolute winner, is UK producer Toby Hedges. His remix, warm and melodic, already made it on the A State of Trance radio show by Armin van Buuren, so we’re expecting big things to happen to this one! #2 on the contest, is Hungarian producer Tamás Fodor.

Under his Flashtech moniker, he provides a playful and heavy-bassed remix of ‘Love Survives’. Responsible for the #3 position through his big-room and synth-driven interpretation of ‘Love Survives’, is Australia based producer Kevin Charm. Each having their own, unique sound, we’re sure this pack fits all tastes.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The finest way to finish a great year in trance is the release of the inspiring positive thinking trance lovesong Love Survives by Tenishia who always amaze us with their great sounds in co-operation with the talented Ruben de Ronde well known for his solo, collaborations and even his own quality trance record label. On vocals is the wonderful singer Shannon Hurley that always touch you with her very sensitive and emotional performance. The idea to organise a remix contest for this track  is fantastic cause in that way new talents can come up with better and surprising remixes too. The package is extensive and satisfying with great versions that all of them are  playable and demand your attention on the dancefloor. The Big Room mix is the upfront version that combines energetic basslines, rocking drum beats and dreamy melodic layers on top along with vocodered style voices on top. The distorted rave style synths add that hands in the air factor and dutch trance taste too. The breakdown is sweet and calming but becomes maddening and wild when the synthy layers sound like fighting each other for the ultimate big room experience. The winner of the competition is Toby Hedges who respects the original version a lot and remain on that melodic, blissful, balearic progressive trance sound that we usually get on S107 releases. This is how melodic progressive trance should be in my opinion, pure bliss, congratulations to Toby!  Shannon's unique and exceptional vocal sounds like being at home and shine within that luscious magical soundscape. Flashtech is brilliant artist and he proves his ability once again to compose a highly addictive proglifting trancer that has additional sweet melodic layers, electrified basslines and punchy pumpy beats. His Flashtech Dub version is perfect for those who like to focus on the musical content and not on the lyrics that for some considered as not underground enough. Kevin Charm delivers a stunning hybrid of epic progressive house/nu rave and progressive electro trance into one magical journey that has the emotional fragile edge of trance and the hard harsh bass and tough beats to get the clubbers on the floor shaking it and rock it big time.  Great addition is the Album Mix that is the radio friendly version that I hope many daytime radio shows to adopt and not only the specialist dance ones. If you feel cold during Christmas Holidays here you got a beautiful warming trancer. Love IT!
