REVIEW: Phil Taylor - Space Sabotage / The Icke Theory on Fraction records

1 - Space Sabotage (Original Mix)
2 - The Icke Theory (Original Mix)

After the recent success of the smash Mind Crime / Truth Vibrations EP, Phil Taylor returns to the main label for another double dosage of action-packed, floor rocking madness with Space Sabotage / The Icke Theory.

Space Sabotage opens the release in furious style. Thumping kick drums, frenetic bass lines and driving percussive rhythms set the energy levels through the roof, while the moody atmospherics of the breakdown ensure maximum floor control upon the drop - stand by!

The Icke Theory continues the high energy theme perfectly, raising the tempo up a notch to deliver a real show stopping, acid fuelled tech trance workout complete with that all important hands in the air breakdown!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Fraction power turbines are ready to bring mass destruction on the dancefloor near you with a very powerful and highly energetic EP by Phil Taylor who is on great shape and ready to dominate your trance weekends. First of all is the unstoppable challenging entitled Space Sabotage. Powerful uplifting trancer with spacey psy trance influences that lead us on a very cinematic breakdown with heavenly voices, epic hands in the air classic melodic theme and large synths. The main part will surprise you as Phil turns the uplifting sounds into dark, sinister vicious maddening climax perfect for the tough tech trance sets. Great bridge track to pass from your uplifting selections to more tech trance sounds. The Ickle Theory is the straight forward uplifting trancer that will impress you with the scientific male spoken vocal sample that will add certain scientific weight and substance to your sweaty clubbing experience. Once again Phil combines uplifting trance influences with acid layers but his climax in this one is pure hands in the air, full on melodic goodness. If you follow what we term as classic UK trance sound be sure to check this great EP. Love IT!
