Chris Corrigan makes his debut release on Fraction Records with an absolutely incredible slice of white-hot, floor-rocking trance entitled 'Horizons'.
The Original Mix is the perfect mood lifter for fans of trance in it's purest form, delivering all the key ingredients for crowd satisfaction including a positively breathtaking breakdown section. Serene, yet explosive and packed with energy, the melancholic piano lines glide beautifully with the powerful chords resulting in a truly memorable piece of music, while the drive of the bass lines and hard hitting drum patterns ensure atmospherics are kept firmly set to maximum - this is not to be missed!
On the remix, fast rising Fraction favorite Felix Pot is on fire once again, adding his unique special blend of precise percussive rhythms and energetic stabbed chord elements to the mix. The result? Another unquestionably huge outing for the dutch youngster!
Dimitri Kechagias review: The always on high demand Fraction records returns with another package of two high quality production that will ignite any dancefloor that you will decide to drop them and get the applause of your audience. The original version of Horizons is an ear opening experience for sure. Chris Corrigan is about to blow big time in the trance scene as this great original proves of course. Uplifting trance in its classic sense with bouncy banging furious beats, acid basslines to add some underground feel as well. Great melodic layers will give us some sense of what is coming on his excellent breakdown. Just be prepared for a long epic breakdown with heartfelt piano melody, violin and strings that create the perfect cinematic atmosphere that will bring in your mind many Hollywood blockbusters for sure. Its so absorbing and emotional that never gets boring despite the fact of being a quite long breakdown. When the airy fairy synths will enter the proceedings we all wait for a very satisfying uplifting main part that will be the top climax to continue the quality journey of the breakdown. Felix Pot is a real master of tech trance and he impress us once again as he keeps the basics from the original and delivers a prog tech trance for the big rooms type of version. Great emotional small breakdown with piano at the early start and then he goes full on for a techy groovy first part. Shortly the melodic layers are added to lead us on the top breakdown. The climax is hands in the air for the big rooms and large festivals. This is what I call cinematic trance! Love It!
