FEATURE: Armada Music wins IDMA Award for Best Global Record Label

Armada Music first Dutch record label to win IDMA ‘Best Global Record Label’ 4th year in a row


 Last night, at the International Dance Music Awards in Miami, Armada Music won the award for ‘Best Global Record Label’ for the fourth year in a row. It’s the first time ever, that a Dutch label won this prestigious award so many times. Armin van Buuren, one of the co-founders of the label, won 4 IDMA’s, for ‘Best Trance Track’, ‘Best Global DJ’, ‘Best Radio Mix Show DJ’ and ‘Best Podcast’.

Armin van Buuren, who’s in the middle of his A State of Trance 550 world tour, won the ‘Best Trance Track’ award for his collaboration with US singer Nadia Ali, ‘Feels So Good’. Next to his IDMA for ‘Best Global DJ’, he also won the ‘Best Radio Mix Show DJ’ for the weekly A State of Trance radio show and ‘Best Podcast’ for the official A State of Trance Podcast.

Armada Music, the record label of which Armin is co-founder, is one of the leading electronic dance music labels, winning the IDMA for ‘Best Global Record Label’ for the fourth time.

The International Dance Music Awards, officially part of the Miami Winter Music Conference, is regarded as the leading award show in the international dance music industry. Awards were presented for 55 categories, of which Armada Music received 5. More than 2 million votes from over 180 different countries came in this year.
