REVIEW: Andy Tau - Trip The Light out on Infrasonic

1-Original Mix
2-Solis & Sean Truby Remix
3-Garrido & Skehan Remix

Label favourite Andy Tau chalks up another stunning release to add to his ever growing collection at Infrasonic with Trip The Light.

Supplying another delicious backing track, Trip The Light is another mighty dance floor single from Andy filled with lush percussion arrangements, clever melodies and a lead to die for.

Off the back of a number of well received originals and remixes over the last month, Solis & Sean Truby turn up the temperature with another monster re-work, while Garrido & Skehan turn in a super debut completing the package nicely.

Dimitri Kechagias review:   Infrasonic as one of the leading UK trance labels offer us the chance to indulge in the mysterious and full of surprises world of the dj and producer Andy Tau. His latest composition is called Trip The Light and you didnt guess it wrong that is another must have item for your digital colllection. First of all the original mix   is a beautiful melodic balearic style prog trancer that is like a beautiful journey into the blue. In the breakdown voice samples, playful quirky melodies  and the very strong hook is revealed to raise some hands in  the air.  The package includes two very strong remixes. My favorite is by the hands of Solis and Truby who deliver a really anthemic and highly uplifting version. It has housey grooves and influences but is very powerful and driving perfect to bridge the more housey infused trancers with the more progressive trance selection. Within  the breakdown the two big hopes in the trance scene utilize the melody in the best possible way and they use it to elevate the track in the main section that is the pay off moment too. Last but not least Garrido & Skehan service us a very playful prog trance version that is quite close to the original as well that is cool and floating with  piano riffs in the breakdown. They recreate the main hook in their own way and the drive the whole track with it forward. Its perfect warm up material. What is missing is a big room uplifting version. That melody will be perfect for a large uplifting anthem. Like IT!
