The brilliant Erick Strong chalks up his second release on Interstate, and what an absolute cracker it is.

Brutal tech trance is once again the order of the day, but this time with a twist. Having found favour with Djs and producers alike, Erick has fast become one of the most talked about artists in the EDM scene, and with yet more fancy fair is set to finish 2011 with another pounding monster set to cause mass hysteria on a dance floor over the winter months ahead.
Remix duties come from red hot Aussie producer Aaron Camz with a dark and sinister re-work, while Matthew Nagle turns in a cool experimental alterative mix.
More gold from Strong!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Interstate recordings despite being a really young label manage already to get a massive following because of its clear and sharp focus on what we term widely as tech trance. Erick Strong is rocking your pants with Payback. Its full on powerful tech trancer but in a way quite appropriate for the epic prog house djs like DJ Tiesto to play it as well. In the breakdown a very honest little melodic riff is waiting that then is tranformed into the large big room theme that will drive bonkers your audience. Just watch them get out of their head when the beat is back and those weird and spooky swirling noises are played upon the very catsy tech trance beat perfect to clap all the way long your hands with it. The remixes are simply fabulous so get ready for some dark and twisted action. First of all Aaron Camz provides a full on stompy progressive trance remix that is dark and melodic perfect to bring the right atmosphere with a very large breakdown that this massive riff will drive mad the crowd and will get them start jumping as I did write now while Im trying to sit normally and write this review. Second very strong remix by Matthew Nagle who uses a tougher distorted bouncy bassline in slower BPM perfect for djs like Sander van Doorn, Swedish House Mafia and of course Marco V or Marcel Woods to play without delay. A Sure crowd pleaser. Love IT!
