A collaboration between Mike Koglin, one dance musics most established big hitters and Dale Corderoy, one of the most exciting producers to come out of the last few years is always going to be something special and this does not disappoint.
This is one of those tracks that locks you in from the moment the bassline kicks in. The tension then starts to build towards the melodic breakdown filled with rushy strings and pads and a superbly
understated piano line.
Everything about this track screams "class" including the remix package which features a brilliant remix from the exciting South American producer Xgenic and a cheeky John Askew edit that first saw the light of day on his recent "Skylab" compilation.
Dimitri Kechagias review: When two magnificent producers combine their forces you expect something really good but this collaboration is even larger than my ordinary expectations. Mike Koglin and Corderoy came together to produce the anthem with the title Metronomic. You can expect a big bouncy bassline, hard beats and a mouth watering breakdown with a fantastic piano melody that slowly gives its place to the manic tough beat that screams for more. Its a very large track that can only be fully experienced in a packed venue. The lovely X-Genic goes 140BPM but in a more fast prog trance style that follows the original a lot and wins you if you dont like fat beats. John Askew edit is very useful dj tool too.
