REVIEW FEATURE: Sirup/Pinkstar/Unreleased Digital/s2 latest releases

Sirup Music latest new and upcoming releases: Sirup Music ,Switzerland's biggest dance entertainment company deliver essential spring anthems 2011

Sirup Music is without exaggeration the hottest dance entertainment company in Switzerland , that acts as the mother label of many well known and successful record labels including S2, Pinkstar, Unreleased Digital, Tokenish and more, that each release becomes an essential item in the bag of any well known and highly respected dj.

Lets take a small tour in the forthcoming releases that you should look out for.

Lets start with dj Tatana’s highly successful record label S2. Two releases at the moment are selected and played by the majority of the djs:

tatana and scaloni
1- Tatana & Scaloni - Flash [S2]

Coming up on S2 Records is a unique collaboration between Tatana and Scaloni.

The two of them bring you 'Flash', a melodic, big room anthem with some very powerful piano stabs. It is literally filled with emotion and seriously catchy melodies.

Also featured on the EP is a groovy remix from Ludvig Holm, showing the nature of his individual sound. Lastly, the remix from Remy Joel & Xpression displays that emotion found in the original mix with a lighter touch in the breakdown and some very high energy drops.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Awesome release from a standout collaboration. Both Tatana and Scaloni gave their best to produce an ultra large anthem that will be the ultimate highlight for any prog house/prog trance dj set. It’s the kind of track that crossovers genre’s boundaries and trance and prog house djs will feel at ease to play. The big piano synth riff is so large that will raise the hair of the body and many hands in the air too. The top original is supported by lovely mixes by Ludvig Holm in a more tribal house tip and Remy with a more prog trance vibe!

Andrew-playroom

2-Andrew Bennett & Dominic Greene - Playroom [S2]

Next up on S2 Records is a dancefloor smasher from Andrew Bennett and Dominic Greene featuring a huge remix from David Puentez & Claudio Lari.

This release has big room written all over it, with amazing piano stabs and powerful trance leads and a drop that has a glitch-like, electro feel to it.

Puentez and Lari decided to put a deeper touch on 'Playroom'. A very dynamic mix, it has quite a bit of energy in the breaks and drops making it a great complement to the original.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Superb progressive house anthem from Andrew who knows how to compose big room pumping beats, The whole composition is very unique and includes some very fresh ideas to keep the clubbers interested. David and Claudio remix is a very different gem. Its main focus are the big synthy trance leads used in the two breaks to create pandemonium on the dancefloor.

Chris Reece and his label Unreleased Digital release after release manage to grow its worldwide fanbase. The two releases that you should look out for:

daniel kwaveri

Daniel Portman & Stanley Ross - Khaweri [Unreleased Digital]

After the surprising success of their previous collaboration song “82nd Airborne”, Daniel Portman & Stanley Ross seem to work well as a producer duo and strike back with their newest work. "Khaweri": A summerish progressive house track with rolling basslines, tekky beats and a huge breakdown with vocals from an African church choir, that draws the track to be a big summer anthem.

The package also includes a remix by upcoming house / tech house producer Nora En Pure. This mix still offers the vibes from the original combined with up to date tech house beats and glitched vocal samples on top.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Unreleased digital is an awesome label and each single release is a must have for any progressive house and trance fans. Khaweri is another unique, groovy epic house production with cheeky tribal beats and great vocal that brings summer in your mind. Nora en Pure follow a lighter tech house direction with a very large break to raise hands and make many tech house djs happy. Brilliant release!
passenger 10
Passenger 10 - Provencale [Unreleased Digital]

Swiss label honcho Chris Reece’s official alias Passenger 10 strikes back with a brand new 2 track EP called "Provencale". Progressive house at it's best.

The title track Provencale offers two huge hands up breakdowns, with sweeping chords supporting the typical Passenger 10 environment. Deep and dark basslines, pad atmospheres and the usual Passenger 10 club music feeling included.

The second track "Bilingual" comes up with warm moog basses, analogue beats. The breakdown brings back the wonderful Passenger 10 melodies, and gives the song a really progressive touch. There’s a more uplifting Remix by George F. Zimmer for Bilingual that suits best as an opening track.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Unreleased Digital is one of the finest and most respected progressive house labels with Chris Reece delivering fantastic releases under his various aliases. This new Passenger 10 continues the quality of the previous releases in two flavors. Provencale is the deeper and edgier one that is definitely a tribal housey usa style sounding with nice melodic breaks. Bilingual my favorite is more melodic, driving with vocal hooks and overall sounding more upfront. George remix is sweeter more chill house version perfect as a starter. Great package that is supported by the largest names in the EDM scene.

Pinkstar and Pinkstar Disco are the most happening progressive house labels releasing tunes by artists like EDX, Jerome Ismae, John Dalhback, and many more. The latest tracks that doing the bizz at the moment are:

disfunction

Disfunktion & Max'c - In The Sunshine [Pinkstar Disko]

For Disfunktion's next huge hit, they teamed up with the amazing Max'C, one of house music's best vocalists. An emotional big room track with beautiful melodies and powerful piano chords, 'In The Sunshine' will be one of the biggest tracks of the year.

Don Palm & Johan Wedel display their brilliant creativity with their massive remix, taking 'In The Sunshine' to a whole different level.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Amazingly feel good track that will put smile in the face of many clubbers who really gonna dance along, through hands in the air, move their sexy bodies and having great time. Pure party anthem on the top label of large success stories that is Pinkstar. The original is definitely big room and epic with Max C delivering dynamic empowering funky club vocals and the remix is even larger and with underground feel to it. Big Release For Sure!
disfunction galette

Disfunktion - Galette [Pinkstar]

Dutch progressive house duo DISFUNKTION once again deliver a big-room masterpiece as their follow-up to the highly successful debut release MAGNA released in 2010 on PinkStar Records. GALETTE is a rhythmic monster with beautiful piano and their signature grungy touch.

Ukranian producer INCOGNET as known from his many releases and remixes released in the past couple of years making himself a well recognized name in the progressive house community is adding his bouncy version to the package making it perfect for dancefloors all across the globe.

Dimitri Kechagias Review: Pinkstar is the absolute progressive house label in Europe and delivers constantly power slamming releases. Disfunction are absolutely favorite of mine and deliver the cleverly named: Galetta . Personally I have supported it a lot cause it’s the epitome of big room house with large piano stabs and synths to raise the hair from your back. Incognet provide a really awesome remix that is big epic and full on horse power. Awesome release once again that will be featured by many djs.

Last but not least on Sirup Music is coming one of the tracks that can easily crossover from underground to more mainstream dancefloors and from specialist radio shows to daytime radio playlists; Get ready for:

Cj stone
Cj Stone Feat. Lyck - Mindful Thinking [Sirup]

CJ Stone is next on Sirup Records with the 'Mindful Thinking' release featuring Lyck. The beautifully sung vocals from Lyck and wonderful melodies make a stunning combination.

Along with the extended and radio mix, this release includes three pumping remixes from Michael Kaye, Da Bomb, and Re-fuge & CJ Stone. This is a release to watch out for!

Dimitri Kechagias review: This brand new release by Cj Stone is an ultra large big room piano driven large synthy break style of track ready to conquer clubs and radio playlists. The vocal and the great lyrics by Lyck are really empowering and thought provoking. The great uplifting sound and the top vocals will take this at the top of the charts without doubts. The remix package is awesome with Da bomb offering a dirty dutch bass driven version, Michael goes for a cool progressive house alternative and the real deal is the Re-fuge and Cj Stone mix.

Don’t miss out this great releases cause they are must own items already….

Many thanks to Maurizo, Alejandro and Marc for their fantastic support through the years.
