'No Turning Back' brought to you by Alex H & Mona Moua is given a dose of life with 3 incredible remixes from some of the biggest names to grace our eyes. The benchmark was set by the fabulous original & that has been met by this trio of producers that have delivered some of the most awe inspiring reworks to have existed. So without further ado, lose yourself into these marveling remixes & see which one strikes you the most!.
First up we the Serbian super producer known to the world as Vintage & Morelli, no stranger to the scene, no introduction needed to describe the sounds that have been formulated by this notable talent throughout the years. His twist on the mellow original takes a visit to the deeper side, making it unbearably intoxicating as each pulse of the sound used climbs into your senses like chocolate melting in a blazing heat. The wonderfully smooth aura is built right away with the thudding percussions masked with the airy chords & pianos melding together. It highlights the sensuous vocals expertly, forming together to create something so blissful that you can’t help but feel yourself being tugged into the wind. The signature piano stabs & subtle kicks drenched with the bass undertones give an upbeat feel, for those that crave the active side. The breakdown using the strings is well suited to increase the momentum of it being launched back into that smooth sailing drive again. What a rendition to start off with & nothing less from the expert talent that has worked magic into this remix.
Next up we have the superbly talented Poland based Sundriver, another that has left his mark with his works in this community for many years. His incredible talent for crafting some of the most tender yet energetic releases is proven once again with this remix, continuing on with a more upbeat feel than the original. You can feel how achingly beautiful this remix is; the chords striking at you instantly, melting into you mind & lifting your aura as the track progresses. This one brings on the images of summer, something we are all waiting for & what a masterpiece to have this as a soundtrack. The perky percussions lift up the atmosphere alongside the elegant melodic sounds floating along the way in a carefree manner. A breakdown that cannot be described in words adds in a surreal feeling of floating with the delicate tones & synths used with the luscious vocals once again. As expected, another outstanding remix by an immensely proficient artist.
Last but not least, the final of our magnificent line up for the remix EP comes from Ukraine based wonder VIF, who is always upping the level of quality in any release he puts out. It's no different with this mind blowing rendition of the original, this time diverting from the more mellow sounds & reaching full on into that driving & energetic sound this talent is know for. Never lacking a unique twist; you hear the way the original is captured into a more cleaner & vibrant soundscape with the use of the lovely synth work that marks the signature sounds of his work. One that can definitely be used as a dance floor raiser; the sounds sweep through every crack & crevice highlighting the beauty of the layering used. The vocals are amped up to a more alluring twist with the electronic elements that capture the lighthearted side. Crisp & clear percussions enhance that fast paced feeling whilst letting the vocal do their magic with the haunting chops. What a way to finish this remix EP off, the closing palette that has followed with the rest, offering a nice variety for you all to enjoy.
An EP that is tremendously appealing in every way possible, these artists have delivered something that cannot be replicated in such a manner. The thought, emotion & skill gone into each one can be heard through every second & nothing less was expected from this dynamic trio of producers.
