With his recent Top3 track, 'Ridin' Higher', on beatport's nu-disco charts and a highly successful EP on our label back in June, we're happy to welcome back German shooting star FREY to our family with a brand new 2 tracker.
Let's kick off the EP with JUST A LIL BIT, an outstanding nu-disco track with decent oriental influences and some subtly chosen G house vocal chops on top of a pounding club beat pattern that knocks your crowd of their feet for sure. With I DON'T WANT YOUR NUMBER the artist shows his more sensitive side, by adding some emotional synth pads underneath the funky down-pitched vocals to create yet another hot club anthem.
A true must have EP for all nu-disco music fans.
Dimitri Kechagias review: It seems that the world slowly discovers Enormous Tunes and the label in 2015 had one of the best years so far in its long history. With classy releases that stand out and brilliant artists Enormous Tunes is one of the labels that you should think as top priority. The brand new EP comes from Frey called From Dusk Till Dance and includes 2 super awesome productions. Firstly is the naughty I Don't Want Your Number that moves on the deep summery relaxing nu disco territory. Laid back grooves, hi-nrg disco deep basslines, synthy layers and superb infectious vocals distorted to the max with an impressive result that you can not resist to tap your feet and then start dancing and swinging around whenever and wherever you ears catch it played in clubs or radio stations. Just A Lil Bit is an interesting combination of deep house nu disco with urban breakdance style early 80's vocals that grab your attention straight away. It has the power to move you and particularly the electro breakdown with certain trap influences will encourage you to think that this is the right moment for dancing. #PureGold Love It
