REVIEW: Armin van Buuren - Who's Afraid Of 138 (Remixes) on Who's Afraid Of 138?!

1.Who's Afraid Of 138 (Photographer Remix)
2.Who's Afraid Of 138 (Jordan Suckley Remix)

A new and quickly growing movement has risen from the underground. What started as a joke in the A State of Trance radio show, has now turned into a worldwide happening: Who’s Afraid of 138?!.

And so, Armin van Buuren decided to dedicate an entire record label to the booming bass of uplifting. And it kicks off with his very own ‘Who’s Afraid of 138?!’, in the smashing Photographer remix.

A realm for the 138 BPM junkies, a welcome home to those who create or support it.

The label of ‘Who’s Afraid of 138!?’ kicks off with the much-wanted Photographer remix of Armin’s ‘Who’s Afraid of 138!?’ track, taken from his ‘Intense’ album.

Often played in his ASOT shows and loved by many, it has become the soundtrack to a new sensation, hitting dance land at a swift pace.

Dimitri Kechagias review: It is the right time for Armada Music to launch a brand new label dedicated to 138BPM uplifting trance lovers and of course the label has the finest name. Who's Afraid of 138? label debut release is entitled Who's Afraid of 138? and is of course the very strong uplifting trance track included on Armin's album Intense. The package includes only the brand new remixes and not the extended mix of the original track that would be great to be in it as well. First of all the much praised and much waited Photographer remix. The hot duo deliver what you expect from them. Full on uplifting epic euphoric trance at its highest quality with infusions and influences from anything than the classic pure trance sound. Long breakdown with heavenly melodies and huge synths to drive the track to its tough and full on hard banging climax. Definitely it was worth waiting for this cause it is destined to remain classic in trance. Jordan Suckley who is lately experimenting with psy trance and euphoric trance is on the second remix and he does something unique that will satisfy the underground psy trance followers and the classic uplifting trance friends. Banging beats, rough basslines, plenty of acid in it and great breakdown with breaks part, balearic guitar riffs and euphoric epic synths. The climax moves on the tech trance territory with distorted basslines and rough beats to keep the headbangers happy. Two must own remixes from a new label that we hope to see more Armada artists stepping in it and delivering uplifting trance sounds. Love iT!
