REVIEW: Chris Schweizer - Reflections & Generation out on ASOT / Armada Music

1.Reflections (Original Mix)
2.Generation (Original Mix)

You’ll get no better road-test than the biggest trance event in Europe. Premiered during his set at A State of Trance 600 in Den Bosch, Chris Schweizer presents the smashing duo of ‘Reflections’ and ‘Generation’.

A name on the rise. A talent on his way up. Chris Schweizer is the Argentinean producer whose sounds you’ll be meeting on the dance floor soon, if you haven’t already. Making a quick rise with the tunes of ‘One’, ‘Let’s Rock’, ‘Iris’ and the Tomas Heredia collab ‘Darksiders’, the Buenos Aires boy seems to have found the right groove.

Now making his grand debut on the ASOT label, he serves a set of tunes that can’t be pigeonholed. ‘Reflection’ has that techy flow and electro-driven sound that we’ve already come to know him for. ‘Generation’ beats any peak -timer, serving a melodic core that gets everyone in awe. Two strong additions to the quickly growing Schweizer discography.

Dimitri Kechagias review:   A State of Trance is the legendary trance record label that serves quality trance anthems for many years on Armada Music that celebrates 10 years of success in the EDM global scene. Of course the sound of the label is not one thing, it rather has many faces like trance music nowadays with its many subgenres. Chris Schweizer from Argentina is on board for two ultra hard and pumping neo trancers that combine elements of many styles including techno, trance, big room, electro and house. Reflections is dynamic and powerful as we like it to be with playful construction that twists, turns, tease and please the crowd. With many surprises and unconventional moves Chris delivers another crowd favourite. Second top notch track is Generation. You guess it right that can become the anthem of the new generation that adores powerful and highly imaginative music that has tones of energy to pump your adrenaline level and bring that satisfied smile in your face. With nu rave infusions, anarchic slamming slapping basslines and grumpy beats, cool MC style vocal sample and a very strong electronic style synthy melody in the breakdown will be impossible not to start dancing and jumping along with it. For the new Generation that seems to be open to everything and anything Chris has just written its soundtrack. Love iT!
