1.Gold (Original Mix)
Having started 2013 with the loud bang that was ‘Apache’, the road is cleared for more Fisherman & Hawkins brilliance. Their latest smash ‘Gold’ tells us one thing; these Dutchies never fail to deliver.
A solid feature in the Beatport Trance Top 3 for weeks, as well as a quick rise in the Main Chart. ‘Apache’ was, and is, the biggest trance tune to hit early 2013. Though still hammered by the big jocks, Fisherman & Hawkins are all set with some new ammo.
‘Gold’ is the shiny new tune that wipes out the cold winter feel and welcomes a warm, proggy flow. Armed with a tight sets of pounding bass, seductive synths and feel-good melody, this one’s all set for the Miami season.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Apache by Fisherman & Hawkins is one of the hottest and most successful trance singles for the first months of 2013. The memorable melody stays in your head for ages and the power of the melody was the main reason behind its global success. The top duo returns with another round of success in the form of their latest production Gold. Its released on Soundpiercing so you can guess that the sound of its is directed towards the more proggy groovy direction. The track is definitely lighter and softer than Apache but still is very danceable and offers plenty of moments to go mad on the dancefloor. The playful composition with chunky groovy beats, electro kissed basslines, twists, turns and greedy dirty beats will definitely win your attention. The breakdown is really atmospheric with heavenly style melodies and warm strings along with balearic guitar riffs. Out from nowhere the euphoric synthy stabs appear to raise the hair from your back and load the excitment. The climax is full on with techy parts and siren like distorted synthy lead on top along with the main melodic theme to drive the clubbers bezerk and out of this world. Its not Apache but still is Gold so a very precious and expensive emotionally item for prog trance jocks. Love IT!
