Santé has been a really busy boy, what with launching his very own Avotre Clothing Line, getting his creative hat on for his producer tech course for Loopmasters and remixing Sidney Charles latest offering on Off Records.

The making of 'Do you wanna 808' on Desolat
The latest online course in the Producertech Presents series is a brand new set of tuto- rials, shot live in the studio of Santé, one of Berlin's hottest rising stars. In the course, Santé shows how he constructed the classic house track 'Do You Wanna 808' with his preferred music software platform, Ableton Live.
The first movie teaches how to create and edit the main building blocks for the track, those being the beats, bassline and other loops and sounds, which are then mixed and processed in the following tutorial. Then, all parts are arranged in a lengthy lesson that shows how to construct the track, by creating breakdowns, rises in tension and huge, dancefloor-destroying drops, whilst also ensuring the track has good continuity and flow. The last tutorial shows how to make final adjustments and some quick and easy ways of preparing a track for uploading or sending to a label, using Live's various mas- tering effects.
The course is currently available at Music-Courses.com, a portal for online music learn- ing. After signing up to the course, students can access the streamed module movies, and also download the accompanying materials, which are a selection of 'Groove Essen- tials' from Santé's forthcoming Loopmasters pack, including quality drum, bass, tops, music and FX house loops.

Sydney Charles has built himself an impressive discography in the last couple of years and he makes his EP debut here at OFF with 2 outstanding singles.
The prolific Hamburg native brings rhythm to life with a 909 rendition to jackin house in "Jack On The Rocks", it's all about the classic vibe and the unmistakable shuffle in this one, while we bring Berlin's tech master Santé (Desolat/8Bit) to the remix decks to turn the track into a deeper bass-driven journey with added sax and a groove that will sure get them moving.
Second track is “Soul Station”, also another one for the dancefloor, more signature classic drums, this time with a groovy phat bassline and the ever-so-loved presence of a preacher vocal that sure does the trick…
