REVIEW: Ashley Wallbridge - Grenade(Original mix) out on AVA/Armada Music

1-Original mix

Firing one musical missile after the next, Ashley Wallbridge continues to hit the targets right where they should.

Following the successes of his debut album ‘The Inner Me’, which shot in to the Top15 iTunes Dance chart around the world including the USA, UK and Canada. The first follow up single is a weapon, kicking in by the name of ‘Grenade’.

Buckle up, cause this one’s going to kick in hard. A real peak-timer with a strong melodic curve, making a perfect successor to Ashley’s Beatport chart smashing hits ‘Keep The Fire’, ‘Zorro’ and ‘Bang The Drum’.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The exceptional talent   Ashley Wallbridge returns on Andy's Moor top label AVA recordings with Grenade which is something that is slightly different from his previous tracks. If his previous successful singles sounded to you  very melodic and sweet get ready for something that is rougher, tougher, sharper and definitely is a sign of change of direction from Ashley who seems to abandon his mesmerising blissful trancers for a peak time in your face sound that is very influenced from the epic prog house and Dim Mak sound. Very energetic and powerful that will be fantastic to observe the immediate and fatal reactions on the dancefloors. With acid overtones, rough rocking beats, wild maddening booming basslines and beautiful melody in the breakdown that sound very "Ashley" indeed. Great hybrid of different styles in order to deliver something really fresh and effective for nowadays eclectic dancefloors that genres disappear in favour of creativity. This is a hit record, no discussions about it! Love IT!
