REVIEW: Philippe El Sisi - Guilty Pleasure/ Zombies (vs Fady & Mina) on FSOE

1.Guilty Pleasure (Original Mix)
2.Zombies (Original Mix)

When it comes to experimenting with music, there’s no such thing as guilty pleasure. Philippe El Sisi explores the boundaries of trance, with the psy-trance infused ‘Guilty Pleasure’ and techy, energetic ‘Zombies’ vs. Fady & Mina!

One of Egypts favourite trance producers brings two new additions to the maddening hours on the dance floor. With ‘Guilty Pleasure’ being an absolute anthem for the ravers, blending psy-trance with the touch of acid, Philippe El Sisi shows exactly why his combination of styles make sense. A balanced track with all necessary ingredients.

For the playful and techy ‘Zombies’, he invited Fady & Mina, part of the new league of Egyptian talents. ‘Zombies’ is a cheeky tech-trancer with a warm core of melody and a high dose of energy.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The top label of Aly & Fila FSOE recordings is a must check for any true uplifting trance lover. The brand new release offers the necessary space to Philippe El Sisi to show us what he can really do delivering pleasures that we should not be ashamed of having them. Guilty Pleasures is banging uplifting trancer with twisted tech trance influences plus some psy trance underground doses as well. The breakdown is exceptional with classical music theme and piano melody to travel your spirit and inspire you too. The main part is full on uplifting climax with the main theme working so well to give you just a small taste of what trance can do for you. After a short breakdown the track finishes off in tech trance mode. Second track is Zombies (vs Fady & Mina). For this track Philippe passes at the other side and he composes a cool progressive electro trance anthem that experiments with rock guitar riffs upon electro influenced beats. Along with his partners in trance Fady & Mina attempt to offer a totally different and fresh approach to trance and he manage it successfully by keeping our feet taping and our head nodding along with the cool rhythm and the maddening parts that will drive you out of your clothes for sure. The breakdown is awesome with classical music theme and nice main synthy riff. Their main part is prog tech trance with the focus on the basslines rather on melody. Like It!
