REVIEW: Vicky Devine - Give Me Love out on Slinky Digital

1-Warm-up Tech Mix
2-'End of the Night' Tech Trance Mix

Established producer and Judgement Sunday's resident Vicky Devine joins the Slinky label with this superb cover version of the 90's Diddy classic "Give Me Love"

Two mixes which both inject the tune with fresh new flavours and as the mix titles helpfully suggest are suitable for both warm up sets and end of the night mayhem.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Vicky Devine seems to be on fire right now and like a real amazon of trance service the public with some serious crowd pleasers guaranteed to become firm favorites for A list djs and not only. Diddy classic Gime Me Love is superb and one of those tunes that can make you instantly happy. Now Vicky has the mission to update it and make it ready and appropriate to rock the 2011-12 clubs and festivals. She came up with two different versions clearly identified for when is more appropriate to drop them. Warm-up Tech Mix goes all the way big room tech trance with housey, techy and of course trance influences. She uses a first short break for the classic vocal to rise and then she continues with deep basslines and the classic melodic riff of the track on top along with swirling effects that lead to the breakdown. Its long with playful use of the vocal until the main beat to return phat and emphatic with the vocal sample on top.  Second version is the top End of the Night Tech Trance Mix. Its driving, its fast and furius and in a way closer to the sound of the original. Expect to get electric basslines and great application of that hell as catsy melody. Big room action and I can see specially ladies going nuts when this will be played. Vicky does it once again right and exact! Love IT!
