To mark our landmark 100th release we have some fine new tracks & remixes from the one on biggest acts on Lost Language, the mighty Tilt. First up is a revisit of the Andy Moor / Mick Park 2005 production “The World Doesn’t Know”. We have paired up a classic track with one of the scenes hottest producers Arty, the result is really quite special. This man really knows how to straddle genres, with his productions gaining diverse support from the likes of Above & Beyond and The Swedish House Mafia. Large.. all the way.
Next up is a new production “No Other Day”, fresh from Tilt studios in Stoke and featuring Maria Naylor on the vocal duties the team turn in their storming Century mix aswell. Sergey Tkachev is next on the mix, big room riffs and tension-building synths. This man knows a killer Tilt riff when he hears one. Texan Tasadi and Japanese based Nhato are next up with their version, its big, its slamming too… a highlight from their recent Ascension compilation on Lost Language. To round things off Charm and Strange give us some ambient relief and a gentle come down with their version of TWDK.
Here’s to the next 100, hopefully in less than 11 years next time….
Dimitri Kechagias review: Lost Language is one of the most definitive progressive trance labels from UK and can be proud for starting the careers of many new names in the scene and establishing them into big players. Each Lost Language single release is a precious jewel in any trance fan collection and definitely the landmark of the 100th release should be celebrated loud and proud. The idea of bringing a brand new progressive anthem with the lovely and so sweet Maria Nayler on vocals can only be aplauded. The superb Tilt Century mix updates the UK progressive trance by retaining that classic Uk trance flavour that includes deep baselines and the outstanding vocals on top. The melody is epic and involving as it can be for hands in the air action. Sergey takes the track in his melodic driving feel good summery territory and the fantastic Tasadi and Nhato push the track to its limit and transformed it into a big epic hands in the air tech trancer on the quality levels that you can expect by the two Lost Language regulars. Of course the highlight in the package and inside the top 10 beatport trance chart is the Arty mix of The World doesnt know. who does not remember this epic track when Andy was still part of Tilt. The Russian wonderboy that he is very close to crossover to the mainstream delivers once again a stunning remix. Its amazing how he can keep his sounds so fresh and not repeating them. Superb 100th release on a label that deserves to be alive and kicking.
