Dimitri: Are you going to remember 2010 as a good and positive year for the progress of electronic dance music or as one of the worst? For instance, have you found many good tracks, new ideas, new talented producers and newborn labels that have excite you and make you feel more addicted with your favorite music?
Vitodito: Well I think 2010 will be remembered for the growing of the new Russian talent Arty, that has really delighted us with some new fresh music, as trance was going really boring with same sounds and same things..that man gave everybody lots of inspiration in creating new grooves new melodies and new sounds, and the results are there, trance moved into a more electronic direction, and I personally like it, but I love uplifting always too!!
Dimitri: Is it possible to list for us your personal accomplishments music wise that you achieved during 2010 and maybe you consider this year as one of your best helping you to go a step forward in your career?
Vitodito: Well 2010 has been MY YEAR … I mean, my first release ever was in June 2010, and from that date on, I released around 20 tracks and remixes, gaining support from huge names such as Ferry Corsten, Daniel Kandi, Markus Schulz, Solarstone, Rank1, which was only a dream before june, these were my first releases ever so I couldn’t expect more, that’s why I’m so excited to see what will happen in 2011 with the releases going to come out!!!
Fortunately music is giving me the strength to go on, as if it was for the situation of my country (Italy), I could just cry in a corner seeing how things are going

Vitodito: Vitodito – Cherries (Neuroscience) still on promotion and the remixes have been played by Markus Schultz, and W & W on ‘a state of Sundays’, the original is been airing on m2o (Italian most important dance fm network) but still on promotion so maybe lots to come

Vitodito: well i personally received a lot of mails from people all over the world that congratulated and said thanks to me for giving them emotion, people from India, Argentina, Canada, Greece and all over Europe, that’s really my best satisfaction ever, really!! Also Italians that were proud to have the Italian flag on the trance world scene! Thank u guys
Dimitri: Can you please let us know your plans for 2011 that your fans should look out for from you?
Vitodito: well, i always say that the best is yet to come… in fact i have lots of amazing releases on amazing labels such as Alter Ego, Harmonic Breeze, Mondo, Neuroscience, Shah-Records… with remixes from Luiz b, Suncatcher, Ferry Tayle, Sunn Jellie … so i’m looking forward to them !!! Expect a great 2011 guys
Dimitri: On the other side are the worst things of the year. Is it possible to tell us the track or album that you believe is the worst of the year and why?
Vitodito: oh that’s a nice matter to talk about, I had a release that I thought it would have rocked, but a very strange thing happened… the track is Vitodito feat Sara Pollino – the song I Promised You…well, no big names played it, and no small names too. i was really surprised and you know why? well the 70% of mails I ever received from people to say congrats for my music, were just for that track, and the remix reached also n1 position in audio jelly top 100 chillout, and was stacked there for a bit..a lot of videos were uploaded on youtube with that track, but still nobody playing it. That was really really strange and …….. strange… i don’t say anything else …… strange
Dimitri: Please give us your wishes for 2011 and your small piece of advice for anyone that reads this interview and love to get into music production or djing.
Vitodito: Well Of Course I Hope A Very Successful Year for Everybody, 2010 has been my first year of music releasing and selling, and I’d Say I’m totally satisfied with It… Next One Could Be Yours, So guys concentrate on music, try to achieve a Pro Sound, listen to the music around, listen carefully, learn from them, but try to achieve your personal own sound too!!
