Progressive Review: Enlight - Machine out 19th April on Perfecto Black

2024 so far has been a fruitful year, one that we can certainly begin to boast about, due to the incredible finds and plethora of undeniable talent out there! We are undoubtedly excited to present you all with a talented new duo that has begun making their own waves in the scene. Gregory and Roman come to us from Ukraine and together they have formed the uncanny duo that goes by the name Enlight. Fresh off releasing a tune on Elpida Music these ever so hopeful artists are debuting their promising new tune Machine, on one of our most sought out sub-labels, the intricate Perfecto Black. Diving headfirst into the track we are pleasantly thrown aback with its sheer quality. We are surrounded by a mechanical aligned bassline, darkish melodic segments with an appropriate echo effect implemented within and a correct use of effects and fills to get the job done. The track builds ever so nicely, our senses are on an all time high and we begin to wonder what may be lurking around the shady corners ahead, where the light begins to die. A brooding atmosphere unfolds further with the introduction of unusual intricate melodies and Sci-Fi robotic vocal segments. The main leads arrive fueling the tension within, bringing us all right to the well awaited break. We are greeted firmly by lush orchestrated pads, a futuristic choir of sorts and somewhat of a space guitar that sends chills down our spines! The robotic vocal reappears, allowing us to re enter our world as the track resumes its dark, fervent, broodish nature, enhanced by an assortment of chopped vox and playful effects. Moving mind over matter, this one runs like a well oiled machine!

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Enlight definitely making waves in the electronic music scene and their track Machine is an example of their ability to service powerful dark driving progressive trance that some may like to call melodic techno. Energetic pulsating basslines, thumping drums, punchy kicks strong synthy stabs and cinematic style sci-fi vocals leading to the dystopian breakdown with cinematic sound design along with some cool traditional style organ riffs merged with the dark moody brooding synths to deliver continous flow of energy, power and dancefloor on the move. #PureGold Love IT[/content]
