REVIEW: Armin van Buuren x The Stickmen Project - No Fun (Remixes) out on Armada Music

About a year and a half after its late-2021 release, Armin van Buuren and The Stickmen Project’s ‘No Fun’ is back in action through this two-track remix pack. Containing a groove-driven version from Brazilian producer Öwnboss as well as a deeper, techno-leaning rework created by rising duo Goom Gum, ‘No Fun (Remixes)’ is marking the global club scene as its personal playground.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Armin van Buuren x The Stickmen Project delivered the instant festival and radio hit No Fun. Now is the time for the two remixes that will make it perfect for 2023 mainstages. Öwnboss service the pounding electro tech bass house version with rough edgy electro basslines, thumping techy drums, punchy kicks and cool synthy stabs along with the vocal that works perfectly to memorize the track instantly and make it hard to forget it in the next days. Of course I must confess that my favourite comes from Goom Gum who take the track in a deeper melodic techno route with huge distorted synths, pulsating basslines, thumping driving kicks and playful application of the vocals in a very twisted way. The progression of the melody is arranged perfectly to bring havoc on any dancefloor and lead to the equally power storming climax that retains the moody but very dominating sound. Two peak time versions, hard to choose #PureGold Love IT [/content]
