REVIEW: Laura van Dam - Needing You out on Armind / Armada

Off the back of her debut release on Armind, Amsterdam's Laura van Dam amplifies the momentum with her sophomore release on the label. Clearly tailored to the club space with its driving bassline, killer sound effects, stunning breakdown and heavy drop, 'Needing You' is a sonic shortcut toward mainstage mayhem.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Laura van Dam is making huge waves for her name and her latest on Armind called Needing You is just brilliant. The deep driving basslines, techy grooves, pulsating kicks and the superb dark haunting synths leading to the very nice breakdown. Packed with melodramatic orchestral strings and cool vocodered vocal sample that works perfectly to add emotional touch to the track. The dark synthy stabs take us all the way to the melodic techno meets deep trance climax that starts all dark but goes a bit melodic too. It would be awesome if the track was longer, it just ends soon and needs to push the repeat button. #PureGold Love IT [/content]
