1-Dimitris: 2023 just started but it will be cool to let us know how was 2022 for your career. Let us know about achievements or goals achieved that you are proud of.

Alessandra: For sure the best achievements on 2022 have been all related to FSOE. I've been asked to make an anthem, I've played in Hollywood for FSOE 750 and I came back to play at the one and only Tomorrowland!

2-Dimitris: Do you have already some concrete plans for 2023 and if you are allowed to announce them to our readers please tell us what you are preparing for us in the coming months regarding releases and performances in gigs/festivals.

Alessandra:  Yes, I have concrete plans but I can't reveal everything now.. :) I can only say that I'm moving my sound in a direction that lately I enjoy a lot!

3-Dimitris: It would be fantastic to talk about your track Unkonsciousness. Please tell us how this track came about and what was the idea behind it.

Alessandra: Unkonsciousness is the Anthem for Unkonscious (a beautiful beach festival in Thailand), so I wanted give at the track both sides of the festival.. that starts at the day and ends at night. So I made a epic breakdown with piano, chords and warm pads to give the sense of the beach, then a catchy happy melody with big leads. And this was about the day part. About the night part, I made a techy/acid intro and outro... with a deep and hard melody. This was the idea I got and I'm happy for the feedback beacause many people totally got my intentions :)

4-Dimitris: How long it took you to produce it and can u describe the production process in simple steps?

Alessandra: I usually have many ideas and I compose my tracks quickly. Sometimes I start from the bassline, and sometimes from the melody. What takes me a long time is the eq of the leads in the drop... I never feel totally happy with that so I can spend also months, after the track is complete, trying to change them to make it better. To make Unkonsciousness it took me 2 full days to put down the whole idea in the track but I can say it took me one month to be happy with the result.

5-Dimitris: Did you had any particular difficulties accomplishing that particular track or any specific production challenges.

Alessandra: I like challenges, this is why I like to experiment different stuffs. As I said the most difficult part to me is to get a massive and clean sound to my leads on the mix.

6- Dimitris: Which music composition software or hardware you prefer and why? What is your opinion of the latest movement to produce music with more analogue equipment and with less or without any digital software?

Alessandra: I've started with Ableton on 2012 and I produced with it till 2016, then I moved to logic which I love and still use since.

7-Dimitris: Do you prefer instrumental dance tracks or you adore vocals? Please explain to us your position and if in your latest production you have vocals tell us how did you choose the specific singer and if it was great to work with her/him?

Alessandra:
I love both!! What I listen more? It depends by my mood :)

8-Dimitris: If you really like to produce vocal tracks which vocalist/singer or lyricist on electronic dance music you aspire to work with?

Alessandra: I worked and I'm actually working with very good singer. But If I have to mention one I aspire to work with is Emma Hewitt.. Because even before to start to produce I always been in love with her voice and tracks, so she has a special place in my heart.

9-Dimitris: In which label your latest release will be? Tell us your opinion about that particular label and your connection with them.

Alessandra:
FSOE which is the main label of my releases. I always loved their releases and I'm very happy to be a board.

10-Dimitris: Do you have your own record label? if yes tell us when did you set it up, the reasons behind this decision and your top 3 releases on the label so far plus 2 or 3 releases that we should look after from your label.

Alessandra:
Good question.. I don't have it but maybe I should. I'm thinking about it lately

11-Dimitris:How much time do you spend promoting yourself in your social media and you see this as essential tool for self promotion and getting bookings too? Which social media is the one that seems to work better for you?

Alessandra: Honestly, I hate to spend time to create daily contents on socials media. But it looks like it's a must lately, if you want to stand. Which works better and my preferred is absolutely facebook.

12-Dimitris: Do you have your own radio show/podcast/twitch stream or Vlog(video blog)? If yes please give us a comment about it and how long it take you to prepare for it and if you are always excited to produce it?

Alessandra: I used to play live on facebook at the start the pandemic. it was very good but then it started to mute tracks because copyright. I moved to twitch but unfortunately I always had connection problems, a lot of anxiety every time, so I've decided to just stop with that (for now)

13-Dimitris: Is there a club classic that you would like to remix or rework in 2023? Do you attempt often to do your own bootlegs of classics?

Alessandra:
I love classics and I already made many remixes/bootlegs:

Lange - Drifting Away (2017)

Tiesto - Elements of Life (2017)

Sunbeam - Outside World (2016)

Sean Tyas - Banshee (2018)

Above and Beyond - Thing Called Love (2018)

Reflekt – Need To Feel Loved (2019)

Dumonde – Never Look Back (2019)

PPk - Resurrection (2022)

I already have some others in my mind that I want to remix :)
