Overall Score

Hitting the contemporary dance floors after a successful spell in the late '80s and early '90s as GT Sampler, Scottish DJ and producer Gordon Tennant debuts on Who's Afraid Of 138?! with a sure-fire belter. Led by a magnificent melody that rouses listeners at every turn, 'The Gods Disco' will turn any venue of space into a clubber's playground.

Summary

Gordon Tennant is a new name in my books and definitely after The Gods Disco we will see him more often for sure. The Gods Disco is a clever groovy tech trancer with hybrid basslines and cool ravey synthy hook that seems to work perfectly on any big dancefloor. The breakdown is all about the playful slow release of this teasing and pleasing melody that stacks in your head and has definitely influences from ASOT anthems for sure. The exotic vocal creates the perfect atmosphere until the build up take us nicely and graciously to the full on euphoric climax that is groovy and has that unique flavour to get some heads nodding for sure. #PureGold Love iT
