This year ADE University introduces a new format for rapidly rising young professionals with a story to tell.
Alongside students, young professionals under 30 will join ADE University for the first time. Both students and graduates can enjoy the complete program, which now also features a brand new concept under the name What's Next?.
In What's Next?, young execs who are well on their way and working up the career ladder will be given the opportunity to talk honestly about how it is to be in their shoes. In a rapid-fire 20 minute session, they describe how they got their first break, what they did to build on it, what that has led to so far, what they hope to achieve in the coming 12 months and what they ultimately want from their careers.
The sessions will also look at individual career strategies including how our speakers plan their moves, through to embracing the idea of not planning anything at all, which can also be regarded as another kind of career advancement strategy. The What's Next? sessions offer a look inside the lives of people who fight to be respected and recognised, giving ADE University attendees a glimpse of the ups and downs of building a career in the highly competitive entertainment sector.
Speakers confirmed so far are Udaravi Widanapathirana of Inertia Music and Dominic Furber of the PAXX Group, both from Australia, as well as Mickelle Heijmans, artist manager and owner of Mickster Management from the Netherlands.
ADE University takes place on Wednesday October 16th till Friday October 18th.
