ADE 2018: Interview with Martin van de Velde & Lucas Jansen, founders of House Of China


House of China is a fresh music and business initiative that channels the connection between the international and China's electronic music scene.   House of China offers a platform to present recent opportunities, developments and challenges in China's electronic music industry. The event is the only official ADE China conference program during this year's edition of the world's largest festival and business conference for electronic music.Some of the main panels included were: The magic of numbers: expand your Chinese fan base, Panel 2: Live and Diverse: China’s music streaming market 
Panel 3: Putting the C in dance.

In this video  we conducted interviews with two of the House Of China co-founders the Journalist Martin van de Velde and the DJ Lucas Jansen who has toured the China region and he knows what it takes to enter this vast challenging but very rewarding territory. Definitely two very thought provoking interviews!

About ADE:
The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), which took place from 17 to 21 October 2018, brought the international dance industry together. With more than 2,600 artists performing in 200 music and entertainment venues, the full spectrum of electronic subgenres is in the spotlight. ADE is the center of the global electronic music scene, and attracts around 400,000 visitors in five days, and can rightly be called a breeding ground for cultural and technological innovation. Amsterdam Dance Event took place from 17 to 21 October 2018. Various sub-conferences are held for the industry, such as Dance & Brands, ADE Tech and ADE Green.  This is the sixth edition of ADE Green, which focuses on sustainability, social change and innovation within the music industry.

The Amsterdam Dance Event is organised by Stichting Amsterdam Dance Event, an initiative of Buma.
