ADE 2018: Exciting new details about ADE Green 2018 program

On Wednesday, October 17th ADE Green returns to the DeLaMar Theater for its 6th edition.

ADE Green is considered to be the pioneering conference on sustainability, innovation and social change. This year’s program will explore the newest and most impactful strategies for environmental and social change within the industry.

The urgency to change our behavior is becoming more alarming than ever. So, how do we move towards organizing sustainable events and how can we inspire people to participate? ADE Green's program features international keynote speakers, gives food for thought in combination with practical hands-on workshops and a range of panels on different topics.

The panel, Rave for a Revolution, will discuss how dancing can turn into something political, as emphasized by Serbian/Dutch artist, curator, and researcher Bogomir Doringer. Get ready to hear some narrative changing stories on how dance became a symbolic weapon for speaking out against social injustice, uniting people from all backgrounds.

In the workshop, How to Design a Green Strategy, award-winning Milan Meyberg explains how to create effective sustainability strategies. Meyberg launched the "eco-coin" and built the foundation for DGTL’s ambition to become world's first circular economy-festival in 2020.

Each year, Innofest offers innovators a chance to test their prototypes and experimental techniques at eight of the leading festivals in the Netherlands. ADE Green invited six of the most promising startups to present their ideas for the much-needed change. From waterless female urinals to bio-degradable tents, these startups can tell you exactly how you can implement these smart solutions during your next festival or event. There is still one wildcard entry available. Apply your idea or invention here before Monday, October 1st.

A circular approach - a closed cycle of recycling - will become the future in reducing the amount of plastic waste at events and festivals. In the panel, Cup, Cup, Cup from Waste to Resource, presented by Heineken, industry professionals will share the ways in which they’ve implemented a circular economy framework in their business.
