ADE 2017: Masterclasses, film premieres and more at the YouTube Lounge

YouTube is back at ADE with a three day program in the YouTube Lounge. Catch them at the Kopstootbar for masterclasses, film screenings, drinks and DJ sets by Ben Pearce and Ofenbach.

Wednesday October 18th: Film Premiere
On ADE opening day, YouTube will premiere with a screening of the short film ‘Why We DJ – Slaves To The Rhythm’ produced by DJsounds and Pioneer DJ that delves deep into the psyche of the DJ, exploring the motivations that drive people to pursue a career behind the decks and the effects stardom can have on their mental health. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with its video director, Dan Tait, and DJ’s from the film such as Ben Pearce and B-Traits.

On Thursday 19th: Masterclasses and party!
A day later, you can join YouTube’s masterclasses in which they share all their newest music product features. They will take a deep dive into Content ID and give you tips on how you can optimise your video strategy on YouTube. To cap things off, they will host an evening event with DJ sets by Ofenbach and Ben Pearce along with food and drinks. Thursday’s program is invite only. Make sure you register here to get one (upon availability).

As part of the ADE pro conference (accessible for ADE Pass / ADE Conference Pass holders), Vivien will be joined by Alan Walker and his manager, Gunnar Greve to discuss cultivating loyalty among fans, tips on breaking through in today’s music and digital landscape, and the latest tools for artists on the YouTube platform at DeLaMar Theater.
