REVIEW: peakXperience - Starlight & Nostalgia out on Pure Trance

Here are two melodic, driving & uplifting doses of pure trance music from Dutch brothers Arjen & Juriaan Hanssen. Both have their own unique qualities of course, but to easily distinguish one from the other we’ll just say that while ‘Nostalgia’ nods it’s head fairly vigorously to the late 90’s vibe of records like Solarstone’s ‘Seven Cities’ with its clattery loops & widescreen pads, ‘Starlight’ is more of a forward looking piece of music with it’s eye firmly on the rekordboxes of the Trance scene’s premier players.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]When it comes to uplifting Pure Trance is the main label that you turn your attention too as Rich Solarstone is responsible to choose every single release on this beloved label. The latest release includes two very brilliant tracks by peakXperience from the Netherlands. Nostalgia as the title says moves on a very nostalgic pathway and delivers a very classy full on euphoric and truly emotional journey that you wish to never end. The main melody comes from the golden trance era with that epic and at the same time bittersweet atmosphere that makes trance to be so unique and tripping out.  Starlight is solid and tight as you wish to be with warm feel good melodies and orchestral touch. It gives you that feeling of travelling without moving. The breakdown is characterised from cool synthy plucks and piano melody that is melancholic and calming at the same time with certain cinematic appeal. The build up towards the climax is teasing and when the beat strikes back you will be totally and utterly lost somewhere that you don't know where it is exactly but you love it! Two must play tracks with faultless arrangement. #ThisIsTrance #PureGold Love IT[/content]
