REVIEW: The Thrillseekers pres. Hydra - Amber out on FSOE recordings

Since the dawn of Trance, Steve Helstrip aka The Thrillseekers has been there to capture his emotions in music. For more than ten years, clubbers, trance fans and even industry professionals have eagerly awaited his magnum opus, his very first artist album. Now signed to Aly & Fila’s infamous Future Sound of Egypt, ‘Amber' is the first single to be taken from his much anticipated album debut, ‘Escape’ which will be released in late 2016. A tribute to the Trance sound of old, but with the precision of today, FSOE and The Thrillseekers’ alter ego Hydra, present ‘Amber’.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]The York based UK producer and DJ Steve Helstrip aka The Thrillseekers is one of the most respected and truly beloved trance legends. His music is emotional and travelling as trance should be without  any cheap thrills for instant gratification. His latest track Amber  comes under his project Hydra and you can easily say from the first time you hear it that this is music send from God to heal the pain, make us better humans and uplift our spirits to another dimension. The breakdown is long and teasing based on original melodies and cinematic chorus like voices that add to the melancholy and sadness of the themes used so perfectly by Steve. His climax is floating and spacey as we always loved to be able to move thousands of crowds. The 138 Club remix is a wonderful addition to the original with even more power and dynamism to give the energy boost that you are expecting from a such revitalising and highly rejuvenating sonic experience! Highly recommended and classic in the making. #PureGold Love It  [/content]
