Has acclaimed actor (and longtime Academy Award hopeful) Leo DiCap ever tripped the light fantastic on LSD? The odds are pretty damn good. The Bearded Man is pretty sure he remembers it happening one night, but it's hard to be certain. That is, of course, because The Bearded Man might not have exactly been in his right mind himself, if you catch our drift... But surprisingly enough, as shocking and scandalous as it would be to hear a story about an A-List movie star doing *drugs* (GASP!), that's actually NOT the story of the title of this song. I mean hell, yes DiCaprio has been to some all-star parties - no doubt about it. But what about the other side of the coin? What about the sweeter, humbler, lesser known scientific side of our beloved leading man? Not many folk know, but he and The Bearded Man met out front of our hero's parents' Palo Alto house. DiCaprio was a bit older than TBM, but the two hit it off immediately due to their mutual love of chemistry. Both of them had felt misunderstood and alone, and each saw something in the other. The two would spend hours in TBM's parents' garage working on experiments of all kinds. The Bearded Man was fascinated by chemical reactions, particularly when an acid met a base. It was DiCaprio's unique thoughts on acid that sparked the imagination of a young Bearded Boy, and the two would wind up creating one of the world's most successful companies of all time. That company? Why Neumodel of course, which is today valued at nearly one trillion dollars. DiCaprio even wrote a high-school textbook about it, called "DiCaprio On Acid", which has sold over 300 copies since 1984.
