REVIEW: Bodhi - Step It Back EP out on Black Butter records

Bodhi’s latest release follows last year’s inaugural Howler EP with another resilient acid-house inspired anthem Step It Back. On the flip side comes the equally powerful Time Warp, taking the tempo up another notch with atmospheric keys that recall the rave-era’s late 80s heyday.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Both tracks by Bodhi manage to re-create that futuristic early 90's acid rave house atmosphere with raw metallic basslines, pounding techy drums, old school vocal samples and that feeling of being produced in an analogue without the perfection of the digital technology. Underground house anthems to keep the house nation moving forward ever backward never. Love it [/content]
