REVIEW: Solarstone & Basil O'Glue - Infatuation out on Pure Trance recordings

Massive #138 Pure Trance beauty here from Solarstone & Basil O’Glue, taken from Pure Trance Vol. 4. A highlight of Solarstone’s recent Dj sets; ‘Infatuation’ is a next-level dance-floor stormer, awash with an array of arpeggiated sequences, acidic overtones and a huge lead string melody. The spoken-word message at the break tells a short story that always raises a knowing smile with the audience; followed by a huge, tense build & the key euphoric payoff that Solarstone is renowned for. This is Pure.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The magnificent record label Pure Trance recordings is a big surprise for the trance community as the trance legend British producer Solarstone meets the Greek Basil O'Glue for the massive anthem Infatuation. Two well-capable producers merge their styles for a classic trance anthem in the making. Pounding pulsating basslines, techy driving rolling drums, excellent    sharp punchy kicks and classic Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis type of synthy lines. Beautiful floating atmosphere with airy pads, warm cinematic strings and mysterious themes from other galaxies. The breakdown is calming and soothing with one of the most well placed spoken vocal samples of the last years. Female and male voices that transpose your imagination to another magical space. Just think of the hair raising phrase ' I'd been anticipating that kiss for years' and you get an idea of what we deal with. The main synthy riff is electronic and plain without being overexcited or cheap and cheese. The right serious anthemic epic melody that elevates the mind, body and soul and help us all to enter another level of unconsciousness, care and love for each other. This track makes you definitely want to kiss! #PureGold 10/10 Love it
