REVIEW: Max Graham - Airtight(Remixes) out on Cycles / Black Hole recordings

1. Tim Penner Remix [Trance]
2. Henrik Zuberstein Remix [Techno]

Arguably the most influential release of Max Graham’s career get’s two amazing progressive reinventions. First up is Henrik Zuberstein with a very slick Guy J style groover that shows class and grace. Tim Penner also shows his skill by taking it in a slightly darker clubbier direction made for those late night moments. Both showing a respect for the original classic this is sure to be in your playlist for a long time.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Max Graham never compromises. The truth is that the talented dj and producer always did what he believed and not what is going to sell. His label Cycles represents his decision to move in the underground and reinvent his sound through different sounds and more futuristic experimental touches that are refreshing and exciting. His classic anthem Airtight is remixed magnificently by two great talents and is definitely a release that you can not afford to miss. Firstly Tim Penner delivers the dark moody progressive trance version with throbbing dark basslines, bubbly drums and excellent percussion along with hints of the original melodies. The track manages to carry you away and make you feel that you are part of a long journey. If it is pleasant or not is up to you to decide. Quality makeover that recalls great dark trance productions by legends like Oliver Lieb. On the other hand Henrik Zuberstein Remix moves on the progressive techno direction that is pumping and floating with darker synths, hypnotic grooves, acid overtones and atmospheric strings. Magnificent mysterious production that will keep the crowd mesmerised grooving and shaking on the more eclectic dancefloors. #PureGold Love It
