Interview with Dash Berlin during Amsterdam Dance Event 2014

During  Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), 15-19 October, a record number of 2,224 artists from 57 different countries  performed. The 19th edition of the biggest and most prominent event for electronic music, an initiative of Buma, put Amsterdam in the international spotlight for all five days. More than 400 journalists, 5,000 conference visitors and 350,000  festival visitors travelled from all over the world to the capital of entertainment and electronic music culture and industry.

On Wednesday 15 October, Herna Verhagen, CEO of PostNL, presented Dutch DJs Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Dash Berlin and Hardwell with their very first ‘Dutch DJ’ stamps. This presentation took place on the opening day of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) in the ADE X SAMSUNG HOME on the Rembrandt square, Amsterdam. All four djs were there to express their gratitude for this initiative of PostNL except Tiësto who was absent at the presentation and he personally received his first stamp at a later time. PostNL is proud to honor these dance heroes during ADE. Herna Verhagen  explained how five music clips from recent tracks can be heard after scanning the stamps, one from each DJ.

Designer Paul du Boi-Reymond of design studio Our Machine was present and talked about the creation of the stamps  in collaboration with colleague Mark Klaversteijn. During this wonderful event I had the chance to interview Dash Berlin and to ask him about his feelings of having his first ever dj stamp. Also I asked him about his performances at Armada Night and Amsterdam Music Festival during ADE. We discuss his current album We Are Part 1 and his latest single with 3LAU FT. Bright Lights - Somehow. It's definitely a wonderful interview that Dash Berlin proves how talented artist he is and we definitely aint seen nothing yer from him.
