In 2009 the former headquarters of the Dutch newspaper Trouw was turned into a temporary nightclub;
TrouwAmsterdam. 5 years later we can surely say that the club has made a big impact on Amsterdam's nightlife with its experimental electronic music programming and industrial setting.
Much more than music
TrouwAmsterdam has earned its fame for its music and vibe but also for its additional programs. De Verdieping has hosted many art installations which gave clubbing a new dimension. The club has worked together with the Stedelijk Museum and other international art institutes, has hosted vintage markets, food bazaars and even a Big Lebowski style bowling alley (including white Russians).
ADE throwback
Since its start TrouwAmsterdam has been part of the ADE and hosted legendary nights that are permanently etched in the memories of many. From the infamous Resident Advisor nights with artists like Mano le Tough, Rødhåd, Agoria and DJ Harvey, to Colors... where artists such as Maya Jane Coles and Addison Groove took the stage. From established labels and accompanying artists like Innvervision’s Dixon and Âme and Ost Gut Ton’s Marcel Dettmann to the talented TrouwAmsterdam residents such as Nuno Dos Santos, Job Jobse and Patrice Bäumel. The list goes on and on. TrouwAmsterdam also hosted ADE specials at other venues such as the Concertgebouw and the Loyd Hotel.
TrouwAmsterdam might be closing soon but it is not over yet. Now in its final year the club lives up to the expectations and celebrates their last ADE with another great line-up for the week:
Rush Hour
Trouw kicks with a Rush Hour night on Wednesday where Young Marco, San Proper, Hunee b2b Antal, Traxx, Robert Bergman, Ron Trent and Interstellar Funk will perform.

Resident Advisor
Of course there is a Resident Advisor special this year. Four Tet, Jon Hopkins, Floating Points, Move D and Motor City Drum Ensamble will play at this year's edition.

Trouw op Zondag
TrouwAmsterdam will end their last ADE with a Trouw op Zondag special. The Sunday line-up features Job Jobse, Luc Mast, Elias Mazian, Makam, Omar S, Solar, Gerd Janson, Talaboman, Mano Le Tough and Tom Trago.
