Following last summer’s sleeper hit “Junebug” and a classy EP on Steve Bug’s Dessous label, deep house legend Vincenzo makes a exciting return to Anjunadeep with his “No Strings Attached EP”. Comprised of three gorgeous, melodic instrumentals, it’s a fine showcase of the distinctive sound that has established Vincenzo as one of house music’s most respected producers.
Title track “No Strings Attached” is a slow burning gem, ebbing and flowing throughout its nine minute journey as deep bass grooves through washing piano melodies and distant vocal snippets. A beautiful end-of-night anthem.
“Sorrento” delicately channels jazz influences, fusing drifting chords with chugging percussion in a dancefloor ready slice of old school deep house.
Rounding off the EP is a collaboration with Voyeurhythm’s Tyson Ballard, “Quiet Beauty”. The most energetic track on the EP, it bounces playful melodies off an infectious groove in amongst summery atmospherics.

It lasts for 9 minutes and will definitely take you on board for a nice smooth journey. Deep melodic progressive house with deep trance influences as well. Hypnotic themes, very danceable grooves and great warm and tender atmosphere that surrounds your body in total bliss. When you dance with top tracks like this one you feel like dream walking in the air and having rave party in your personal pink cloud. Sorrento is a totally different affair. On this one he takes the new deep house meets acid jazz road and he composes a wonderful laid back anthem with erotic hypnotic rhythm and really sexy eargasmic groove spiced up with fantastic diva house soulful female vocals. The funky organ riff and the various old school elements are placed in a such spacious arrangement that sound very futuristic rather than being just romantic or retro. You can not resist to dance a long and clap your hands to the sky with nice smile on your face. On Quiet Beauty he collaborates with Tyson Ballard and the outcome is such a nice little cute track with chunky groove, funky deep basslines, chopped vocal samples, retro melodies and sound effects along with acid overtones in the background.Melodic, blissful and relaxing perfect to drop at the end of the day or when the sun is rising in your Ibiza terrace chill out/laid back set. #PureGold deep house jewels!
