John Askew delivers the latest sledgehammer on Mental Asylum Records with a rocket fueled, peak-time workout for the main rooms entitled ‘Mechanism’!
The Original Mix overflows with raw intensity and pressure filled atmosphere from start to finish. Energy soaked bass rhythms and overdriven synth patterns grip the crowd instantly, whilst the razor sharp FX, ethereal vocal samples and psy-tipped acid lines deliver maximum damage every time - MASSIVE!

Dimitri Kechagias review: There is a dj and producer that everybody in the music industry has something really good to say about him. This man with th wide smile in his face John Askew that actually remains a legend and his UK Trance style music continues to inspire the younger generations. John Askew with great releases on Armada Music and Perfecto records lands in the country yard of Indecent Noise's Mental Asylum. Is he insane enough to accept the challenge? Of course he is like any British man who knows how to party and yes you guessed it right: Here's Johnny! Here Is John Askew with his fantastic anthem Mechanism. The track starts really intense with powerful drums, fat bouncy basslines and dark synths that will manage to carry you away easily. While you believe that we go towards an euphoric trancer he does the twist we didn't except and in his breakdown he adds some cool effects and fantastic vocal samples with my favourite Here's Johnny one. Also some ethnic female voices are introduced to add that Goa inspired result along with acid overtones. The climax is powerful and punchy to the maximum and will be super hard to stand still and not feel the rush and euphoria this track delivers despite its dark and deadly parts! Its all about good party and John Askew knows how to deliver it in his top dj sets and tracks so far! Beware cause Here's Johnny! #PureGold Love iT
