Dimitri Kechagias review: The UK based trance superstar Jordan Suckley has found his homebase. He starts his own record label with the very unique name Damaged records under the safe umbrella of Black Hole recordings. The first release is the collaboration between Jordan Suckley & Eddie Bitar for their full on hands in the air tech trance meets psy trance banger Centipede. If you search for an energetic prime time bomb that is fresh, unique, modern and with certain identity better don't miss this slammer. Centipede is powerful and banging with heavy techy beats, psy trance driving basslines and strong synthy elements as well. The main long breakdown is epic to the maximum with cinematic atmosphere and melody that take us somewhere in Goa India while the huge synthy riff is coming to the surface followed by huge break beat section that increase the excitement and builds anticipation for what is coming next. The filmic vocal sample perhaps from a horror movie brings the dark and sinister atmosphere. When the beat strikes back we are on board for an energetic tech trance ride with acid overtones and playful composition that keep us interested. Its the kind of track that you know that the crowd is impossible to resist. Centipede now is remixed in finest style by James Dymond & Allen & Envy. Firstly James Dymond does what he knows best as he transforms the original into a massive big room proglifting trancer that takes advantage of the ethnic vocal samples and exotic melodies and create a magnificent result with long cinematic atmospheric breakdown that is followed by huge distorted rave style synthy lead that will cause huge damage on any dancefloor. His climax is epic to the maximum and when you play it you can easily guess the crowd positive reaction. Allen & Envy who recently performed at ASOT650 in Utrecht service the straight forward uplifting trance version that is banging, driving, energetic and extremely dynamic. Tough beats, punchy driving basslines and acid overtones on top to blow your socks off. The breakdown is really strong with the opera vocal sample working like a treat with the breakbeat sequence that follows and slowly leads the track to the uplifting euphoric climax. of course the melodies are quite dark and sinister so its uplifting but in a very Damaged way if you know what I mean. Get ready to get DAMAGED, #PureGold. Love IT
If you have a suitable demo send it over to Damaged and you never know what to expect.
