The unstoppable Breach aka Ben Westbeech is back with a brand new track following the monster success of his summer anthem ‘Jack’, which saw major support and heavy rotation from the likes of Disclosure, Skream & Benga, MistaJam, Duke Dumont, Annie Mac, Maya Jane Coles, Heidi, Rob Da Bank, Roska, Artwork, Annie Nightingale and tons more, landing Westbeech on the cover of DJ Mag and in the Top 10 of the UK charts.
The UK-born Amsterdam-based producer will follow his recent hit with ‘Everything You Never Had (We Had It All)’ feat. Andreya Triana, set for a major release via Big Beat/Atlantic Records/Ninja Tune this November. Another infectious anthemic floorfiller and sure to be another DJ set staple, the track plays host to the honeyed vocals of soulful UK songstress Andreya Triana who has previously collaborated with Bonobo and Flying Lotus. With every release Breach’s brand of bass-led house music is reaching new levels and wider audiences but, in spite of his success, he is adamant that the underground is where his heart lies and it’s the thread that runs through all of his music. On remix duties is Hot Chip member Joe Goddard turning the original into a spaced-out electronic disco afffair that will work magic.
The prolific Westbeech is set to release a DJ Kicks album later this year in addition to hotly received remixes for Maya Jane Coles, Jamie Jones and Rachel Row on Defected.
Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the brightest stars in the UK EDM scene is of course Breach who manage to inject with his minimalistic approach the UK Top 40 with his underground eclectic anthem Jack . Now his next big thing is called Everything You Never Had and is absolutely mouthwatering. With influences from garage house to early rave classics of the late 90's along with the awesome voice of Andreya Triana that reminds us great singers of the same era is definitely the perfect retro house track for your late night adventures. Joe Goddard remix is my favourite on this package cause it simply magical. Deep electronic hypnotic dreamy version that includes influences from deep house, techno and even the textures of trance. The breakdown is characterised from the nature sound effects and the great Andreya vocals that you feel obliged to learn them by heart and sing them in the next karaoke party and win the admiration of your friends. When underground and mainstream meet without feeling that there is a sell out! Highly recommended. Love iT
